Books, books, books!
Come Away My Beloved – by Francis Roberts. By far my favorite devotional. It’s my go to! I’ve given to half my family and many of my friends.
ESV Study Bible – This is the Bible I’ve been using for years. I absolutely love it – so many study aids. Nate gave it to me for Christmas one year. What a man!
Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman – by Beth Moore. A Bible study that was a game changer for me, especially in the area of fear.
Entrusted Bible Study– by Beth Moore. A great one if you are wrestling with being called to something! Based on 2 Timothy.
Mark of the Lion series – by Francine Rivers. After reading this fiction series, I felt like I had lived in the days of the New Testament. I have a much better feel for that culture now. (Learned more than I did in my NT class in seminary.) You won’t be able to put them down.
If you Want to Walk on Water, You’ve Got to Get Out of the Boat – by John Ortberg. John doesn’t know it yet, but he’s going to be my next writing coach. This book will inspire you to step out in ways you never have before! I marked it up on every page and go back to it often.
